I’m not a swimmer but I want to support this event, how can I do this?

Register as an independent participant and donate to your organization of choice!

What do I need to do after I have completed the swim?

Make sure to track your donations on the pledge sheet before and during the event. After you have completed your swim, donate to the organization of your choice and if you are comfortable, send us a receipt of your donation so we can track total donations! If you are part of an organization and please pool your donations prior to sending your receipt.

Is there a way to see how much has been donated so far?

We will be updating our website under the Donations tab.

Who should I ask to pledge for the Swim'thon?

It really depends on who you are most comfortable with asking and who you think would be likely to pledge. Asking family members often works, especially grandparents, aunts, or uncles. Asking friends of the family, especially adults, can also be a good idea.

How do I ask people to pledge?

We have provided a sample request sheet to copy and paste into an email to make things easier.
